A diagnosis of cancer, and the treatment that follows, can have a major impact on both the mind and the body. You may be experiencing fatigue, pain, anxiety, stress or simply long for time away from medical appointments to relax and unwind.
Oncology Massage is a gentle, adapted treatment that is specifically for people who have been diagnosed with cancer. This can be before, during or after treatment. The aim is not to treat the cancer itself, but to help manage some of the physical and emotional challenges that can accompany a cancer diagnosis and its treatment.
Prior to your massage, a detailed consultation will be taken to discuss where in the journey you are, what treatment you are currently having and how you are feeling on the day. Every session will be adapted according to your needs on the day, ensuring your comfort, wellbeing and safety.
